What is fiberglass thread？
Fiberglass thread has excellent properties such as high-temperature resistance, chemical resistance, high strength, smooth and soft, has good torture resistance and can be knotted, and can be sewn on high-speed industrial sewing machines without untwisting. Fiberglass thread is mainly used to sew glass fiber filter bags (including continuous fiber, texturized yarn, and needle mat filter bags) and other glass fiber products. Since the early 1970s, my country has begun to produce internationally universal filter cloth bags made of flat-width filter cloth sewn by a three-needle sewing machine, which is caused by the sewing of the filter bag and the easy torture of changing the folding edge of the cylindrical cloth bag. What is glass fiber yarn?
Glass fiber yarn is a kind of inorganic non-metallic material with excellent performance. There are many kinds. The advantages of glass fiber yarn are good insulation, strong heat resistance, good corrosion resistance, and high mechanical strength, but the disadvantage is that it is brittle and has better wear resistance. Poor, glass fiber yarn is made of glass balls or waste glass through high-temperature melting, drawing, winding, weaving, and other processes. The diameter of its monofilament is several micrometers to more than two dozen meters of micrometers, which is equivalent to one 1/20-1/5 of a hair strand, each fiber strand is composed of hundreds or even thousands of monofilaments.
