Suntex supplies a full portfolio of high-performance coated fabrics for manufacturing fabric expansion joints. Fabric expansion joints are flexible multi-layer composite components used to compensate thermal and mechanical displacement of flue gas ducts and hot air pipelines while maintaining gas tightness. Compared with rubber and metal alternatives, fabric expansion joints excel in high-temperature working conditions.
Our asbestos-free textile series covers silicone coated fiberglass/aramid, neoprene, Hypalon, fluoroelastomer, PTFE, aluminum foil coated, silica and stainless steel wire reinforced fiberglass fabrics. These materials serve as outer cover, flange reinforcement, gas sealing and high-temperature protective layers of expansion joints, with temperature resistance up to 1000°C.
Our fabrics for fabric expansion joints are widely deployed in heavy industrial facilities. Main sectors include power plants, cement plants, chemical plants and other sites with hot flue gas and air duct systems. They fit ductwork requiring compensation for thermal movement, vibration offset and medium sealing in high-temperature pipeline systems.

A: Our fabrics can be applied for outer cover, flange reinforcement, gas seal layer and high-temperature protective layers. We do not supply internal insulation filling materials.
