This aluminum foil laminated fiberglass fabric combines an aluminum metallic/film heat shield with a protective fiberglass insulation layer, bonded using a special fire-resistant adhesive. Built on TGF580 plain-weave E-glass base cloth (ET9 430 tex yarns, 580±30 g/m², 0.70±0.05 mm), it features 22-micron aluminum foil laminated on one side, giving a final weight of 640±30 g/m² and thickness of 0.75±0.04 mm.
The smooth aluminum surface offers non-water permeability, good hermetic and weather resistance, strong light reflection, good stretch resistance in both length and breadth, and non-breathability. One-side or both-side foil lamination is available, with foil thickness from 0.0007 mm to 3 mm and fabric widths from 1000 mm to 3000 mm. The material is flame resistant and non-combustible, with the glass fabric rated to 550°C and the aluminum foil to 140°C.
