It looks simple. But there’s a lot behind it.
These photos were recently shared by our customer from an industrial insulation jacket installation.
At first glance, it is simply a jacket covering a valve, pipe, or piece of equipment.
But anyone working in industrial insulation knows that getting this right is not that simple.
The jacket needs to fit around different shapes and connections, stay securely in place, protect the insulation underneath, and still allow access when maintenance is required.
And then there is the material itself.
The outer fabric needs to handle the working environment while remaining flexible enough for fabrication, installation, removal, and repeated handling.
This is where material selection becomes part of the engineering process — not just a purchasing decision.
We are always glad to see Suntex materials become part of real projects and, even more importantly, to see customers sharing the finished installation with us.
For insulation jacket manufacturers: what is usually the most challenging part of a project — material, fabrication, or installation?
